White Oak (Quercus alba)

$10.00

White oaks are tall, broad trees that can live for hundreds of years. The oldest white oak in our part of Pennsylvania is five hundred years old! Our trees are one or two year old bare root seedlings. Plant them in an open area for broad growth. Acorns are great for making flour and excellent for supporting wildlife. During mast years, like this year, we feed them to our goats as a high calorie supplement to winter hay. Our trees are sold barefoot and are small seedlings. You may want to protect your trees with fencing or restoration tubes.
